Mo Su Gardens, the new resort on the shore of Lake Tarnița, opened on 30 October 2026. Its 1,500 m² event hall, with room for about 1,000 guests, is covered by an Adamson IS-Series sound system, designed and installed by SETTING, Adamson's official partner for Romania.
The hall has an undulating ceiling of metal slats studded with points of light, and can be used as one space or divided into two independent halls, for concerts, shows, weddings and corporate events.
What the owners asked for. Clear sound almost everywhere in the room, at a constant level, from conferences to concerts. The same system had to follow the room when it is divided, with each half working as a separate system, and the loudspeakers had to blend into the architecture.
The solution. The main hall is covered by two hangs of six IS7 and two IS118b each, supported by one ground-stacked IS219 per side, tuned to cover about 30 m into the room. The smaller hall uses three IS7 and one IS118b per side and is used mainly for conferences and small events. Two XG8, one XG4 and one XG2 amplifiers in a single rack drive the system, managed through Adamson Array Intelligence.
The simulation in Adamson Array Intelligence / Blueprint shows an average of 103.9 dB SPL across the main hall's audience area (maximum 111.2 dB) and 107–111 dB in the small hall. The two systems sit about 50 m apart, positioned so that the stage microphones remain usable.
Designed and configured by Doru Gheorghe of SETTING; system engineer: Gabriel DeMoloci. Commissioning finished two days before the opening.
“Yes, this is the sound we wanted. It's something else – incredible clarity across the whole floor.” – Andrei Salanta, co-owner, Mo Su Gardens
