Native Instruments is a leading manufacturer of software and hardware for computer-based audio production and DJing. The company's mission is to develop innovative, fully-integrated solutions for all musical styles and professions. The resulting products regularly push technological boundaries and open up new creative horizons for professionals and amateurs alike.
THE FOREFRONT OF DSP
With its foundation in 1996, Native Instruments opened up the fascinating world of real-time sound synthesis on standard computers. Since then, the company’s relentlessly innovative audio technology has inspired entire genres, and has revolutionized the ways in which people create and perform music. Native Instruments products combine outstanding sound quality with unlimited sonic possibilities, aesthetic interface design with supreme usability, and comprehensive functionality with an uncompromising attention to detail.
Today, Native Instruments offers an extensive arsenal of hardware, seamlessly integrating with the software products that cover the whole realm of modern music creation and performance. This portfolio is organized into three product brands.
KOMPLETE
The KOMPLETE family comprises an extraordinarily wide range of software instruments and effects, all designed to facilitate professional music production across various styles and genres. It now represents over 50 individual products, including such landmark creative tools as the modular sound design software REAKTOR, the market-leading sampler KONTAKT, and the universal digital effects studio GUITAR RIG.
MASCHINE
The MASCHINE product range has revolutionized digital groove production with its integrated hardware-software concept and uniquely intuitive real-time workflow. Since its introduction in 2009, it has singlehandedly created a new market segment. Widely adopted in both electronic and urban music genres and beyond, MASCHINE has become synonymous with a new and particularly spontaneous way of creating and performing beat-oriented music.
TRAKTOR
Native Instruments is also spearheading the digital DJ revolution with its TRAKTOR product range, which relieves DJs from the limitations of analog and outfits them with vast new creative possibilities that expand the very definition of DJing. Based on the ground-breaking TRAKTOR software that first pioneered the concept of full-featured computer-based DJing in 2001, and complemented with a diverse and growing range of hardware controllers and audio interfaces, the product family has come to represent the contemporary paradigm of DJing more than any other technology on the market.
