In 1965, the founder Günter Schilling started to import products from Asia and quickly realised the potential of electronic components and products for the European market. In 1972, larger premises with an office building and a warehouse were occupied and in 1981, Inter-Mercador GmbH moved to the current location in Bremen-Mahndorf. The company grounds comprise 35,000 m2 and include two administrative buildings as well as the logistics centre with the European central warehouse and the latest commissioning technology. In 2001, the company was renamed in MONACOR INTERNATIONAL which, today, employs approximately 170 people in Bremen alone.

That's where the foundation was laid for the worldwide success of MONACOR INTERNATIONAL. Our product range includes more than 4,300 products from the fields of PA Technology and Lighting Technology, Stage and Event Technology, Car Hi-fi and Security Technology. Our company has got trading partners, subsidiaries and participations in more than 40 countries worldwide.
