EN54 extension amplifier with 6 speaker zones for voice alarm system

FEATURES VELA is a voice evacuation system certified in accordance with the EN54 fire protection standard.A perfect solution for PA evacuation systems that include zones.

Dante compatible, and ethernet connection for PC software configuration and control.

Among the principal functions, worth pointing out is emergency and evacuation announcements with zone control. System status check and loudspeaker line monitoring.

Input and output DSP functions.

Playback of pre-recorded messages, microphone and line inputs, and automatic switchover from the backup amplifier.

The VELA-AMP central amplifiers and VELA-EXT extensions have 6 zones with independent volume.

The system supports up to 256 zones, with one central amplifier and 42 extensions. Each amplifier provides 360 W RMS power to be distributed in the zones, with a maximum of 180 W per zone.

It is possible to connect 2 VELA-FMIC fireman microphones and 2 VELA-MIC alert microphones to each VELA-AMP central amplifier and VELA-EXT extension.

The complete system supports 32 fireman microphones and 32 alert microphones.

If EN54-16 compliance is required only 16 fireman microphones can be connected Very versatile integration with other systems, with general purpose inputs and outputs, emergency control inputs for connection with switchboards, outputs for skipping attenuators, etc.

The amplifier is fully configurable via the intuitive PC software.
