VDT FITNESS CLUB

VDT Fitness Club in Palazu Mare, Constanța, opened on 31 October 2026 and has a rare feature: the building was designed and constructed from scratch for fitness alone, not adapted from a building made for something else. Over four floors you will find a cycling studio, Pilates and aerobic studios, cardio and strength floors, a swimming pool with a lounge, and full changing facilities.

SETTING delivered the sound system and the lighting under a single contract. Everything starts from one Fonestar NMX-1616 DSP matrix, which feeds ten FSD amplifiers and 114 SONORA, SKY, POWERBASS and GAT loudspeakers on 100 V lines.

Each of the nine acoustic areas, from the high-energy cycling studio to the quiet Pilates room and the pool hall, has its own processing, level and equalisation. IP66 salt-fog rated loudspeakers cover the wet areas, announcements are scheduled with a ZSM-1050, and the whole system is controlled from a tablet or phone over the network.

In the cycling studio, pixel lighting from Eurolite and FOS, controlled with ChamSys GeNetix and programmed in Resolume Arena 7, follows the structure of each 50-minute class.
